Lower South Long Lake is a 1,313 acre lake located about 7 miles southeast of Brainerd off of Highway 25. The maximum depth is 47' and about 35% of the lake is 15' deep or less. Upper South Long Lake is an 802 acre lake with a maximum depth is 47'. It lies just northeast of Lower South Long Lake and has many of the same characteristics. The lakes are well developed with many homes and cabins and popular for being near the southern cities of Little Falls and St. Cloud.
